We offer H.D.P.E spiral Pipes of sizes 400 mm- 2500 mm ; as well as H.D.P.E one - piece construction manholes manufactured to customer specification.

Hebeish For Enginering works produces spiral pipes with inner diameter from 500 till 1500mm.

As demonstrated the important impact of moment of inertia can be used to increase and magnify ring stiffness and resistance against deflection and buckling of the pipe.

These considerations lead to a new concept of processing, instead of solid wall, a profile wall is in use.

The pipes with a profile well have been used for more then twenty years with successful results. Dimension and mechanical properties for profile wall have been used for more than twenty years with successful results. Dimension and mechanical properties for profile wall pipes are according to ISO 9969 German standard DIN 16961 part1 and part2 and American standard ASTM F794 and F894. Hebeish spiral is produced by extrusion and continuous wounding.

The specially engineered profile wall produces superior ring stiffness properties and mechanical resistance to external loading. The moment of inertia can be magnified significantly in comparison to solid wall pipes.

This means for practical use that:

a) With the same output of material volume the stiffness of the pipe can be increased

b) For the same resistance of external loading the material can be decreased up to 40% of the comparable solid wall pipe construction.

C) The lightness of the pipe due to the raw material saving and the combination with their smooth internal and external surface facilitate handling transport and installation loading does not involve heavy work

Material

Hebeish spiral pipes are manufactured from a high density high molecular weight polyethylene

Joining

a) A special coupling which consists of a stainless steel casing with steel bolts and a high quality rubber sealing.

b) Butt fusion welding method can also be used. This allows the polymer to flow together resulting in a continuous pipe without a joint after cooling the joint strength averages 110% of the strength of the pipe walls.

Characteristics

The almost smooth surface of the spiral pipe and its resistance to scale and sediment build up which is minimized due to the nature of the material (antiadesive,non polar etc) provides for excellent hydraulic that are superior to those conventional pipes. furthermore a very good flexibility makes them adapt to undulations and possible settlement of the ground without being damaging stress at the joints.
