Akavent aerator fittings are the heart of every Akatherm soil and waste system and are available in the diameters 110 and 160 mm. The four integrated 45º bends break the fall of the water while keeping the stack in one line.

Akavent aerators are versatile in use because of the possibility to create connections in 75 and 110 mm.

They can be connected to the stack by means of welding or using snap-sockets. When prefabricated pipe segments are used per floor, installation of the low weight akavent system is even easier.

The ideal jointing method for making a connection to an akavent is the snap-socket. This unique Akatherm product offers the following benefits:

Pull-tight joints if a groove is made into the connecting pipe
Optimal sealing with the snap-ring centring and supporting the pipe
Long-term reliability because the snap-ring protects the seal from dirt

PE pipe system

low weight and durability
Akatherm drainage systems are made from High Density PolyEthylene (PE). The low weight, impact resistance and flexibility of this material make it the ideal material for high-rise applications. For the connection to sanitary equipment a wide range of fittings is available.

By using an assembly of standard fittings in the transition from stack to horizontal pipe, the proper venting of the stack is guaranteed.

simple, secure and fast jointing
For jointing Akatherm PE pipe and fittings, we generally recommend our electrofusion system (akafusion).

Electrofusion is the ideal method for jointing high-rise drainage systems as the pipe work can easily be welded using the handy akafusion control box.
